Friday Five: LoseIt, Roomer, GiphyCam, Roadtrippin' & DuoLingo Chatbots

I did a "year of yes" once. I said "yes" to every zany opportunity, event or thing that came my way. It might be overstating it to say that experiment put me on my current path but it certainly had a huge impact. Seth Godin's blog today echoes the idea that opportunity is everywhere. Say "yes" instead of no to something next week and see if it leads you anywhere awesome.

You're likely using MyFitnessPal but Lose It just one upped them in the food tracking game. Take a pic of your food and the app will identify whats on your plate using image recognition and add it to a food diary.

Roomer is a secondary marketplace for selling and buying other peoples' hotel reservations. I haven't used it seems worth it to try and resell your non-refundable resos.

Yeah yeah yeah we've all downloaded and not used Duolingo... but now it has chatbots! A back and forth convo (even scripted) is a much more effective/fun way of learning another language. Bots are IOS only right now.
