"Practice makes perrrrrrfect" was drilled into my skull as a kid when I balked at going to baseball/soccer/piano. It's kind of weird that in our adult life that construct kind of goes away. We think of things as bad habits instead of bad practices. Maybe a way to embrace a new or different way of being is to think of it as practice for the best you?
